Beyond its exceptional outward appearance, the Serenity Collection boasts a stunning assortment of standard and optional features. An oversized glass area allows an unobstructed view of a superbly realistic log set and fire. And, for maximum comfort a dual-burner system allows multiple fire options and provides one of the widest heating ranges in the industry. Add in precision flame level adjusters and a raised ember bed which glows immediately after lighting, and it's clear that the Serenity Collection truly lives up to the Harman Built name.

Serenity III Remote Registers
The Serenity III is designed to supply hot air to one or two remote registers. As the illustration shows, registers can be placed on the same floor as the fireplace and the floor above or below.

Floor and wall registers are available, each with a blower inside. When the blower comes on, it opens a damper inside the fireplace that allows hot air to flow to the register. When the blower is off, the damper is closed to prevent unwanted hot air from flowing. A control knob at the register turns the blower on and off and adjusts blower speed. A temperature switch inside the fireplace prevents the blower from coming on before the fireplace is hot enough to blow warm air. Hot air can be supplied to registers up to twenty feet away with impressive results.

Ductwork is available for a variety of home layouts and heating needs, and optional 6" register kits can be customized to your exact specifications.

On the floor register the blower control is recessed into the register. A small door is located over the control for easy access.

On the wall register the blower is controlled by simply turning the knob.

Venting
Top venting options for the Serenity II and top and rear venting options for the Serenity III allow each fireplace to easily become a part of any home. For more information and detailed installation instructions, please contact your local Harman Built dealer.

Air Gate Blower System
This exclusive Harman feature greatly increases heating efficiency by automatically closing the air gate and sealing the air chamber when the blower comes on. This forces all air from the blower through the heat exchanger then out into the room for maximum airflow.

Options

Framing
Framing dimensions shown will work for Traditional, Arch, and Victorian Series faces. ( A special drywall bracket is required for the Victorian face).

Before framing begins, all aspects of installation such as placement, venting, gas supply, electrical supply mantels, hearths, wall materials, and faces should be considered.

Independent Rear Burner
The Serenity III's rear burner can be turned on or off any time the front burner is in operation. This can be done at the control panel or from your favorite chair by remote control. In addition to more heat, the rear flames reflect light off the firebricks which make the brightness of the fireplace outstanding. The rear flames also become slightly more active in order to capture your attention. This produces a three-dimensional effect which is unequaled in the industry.

When the rear burner is off the mood is more gentle and subdued. The raised ember bed still glows with full radiance and the front burner flames are at a full height.

For the ultimate in a low burning fire ambiance, turn the control knob to "low" with the rear burner off. This lowers the flames while leaving the ember bed glowing with superb realism. This setting produces less heat and greatly lowers fuel consumption.

The fire shown above is achieved with the rear burner on and the control knob turned to "high". This combination gives the highest heat output, the tallest flames, and the brightest firebox.

The control knob can be turned to "low" to reduce heat output by 30% and lower all flames.

The fire shown here is created with the rear burner off and control knob turned to "high". This combination removes the rear flames, reducing light reflection from the firebox. Heat output is reduced by approximately 10,000 BTU.

The control knob can be turned to "low" to reduce heat output by an additional 30% and lower the flames. The ember bed will continue to glow.
